ANNUAL SHOW 2017

The  Society had a great show this year, with many visitors viewing for the first time. We welcomed over 300 visitors.  The show was opened by Deputy Mayor of Peacehaven Cllr Reg Farmiloe. Visitors viewed the lovely exhibits on show ranging from cut flowers, some amazing flower displays (the most entrants for a few years), baking, vegetables, pot plants, photography, and arts and crafts. The cafe served an assortment of homemade cakes, scones and bacon sandwiches. We had a raffle stall, bric-a-brac, plant stall, win the wooden garden man and name the scarecrow.We held an Auction of Produce after the show where visitors grabbed themselves a bargain. This year many trophy winners had entered for the first time which was great for us to see. Let’s hope we have more next year. This year for the first time ever we had a three way tie for the PHS Trophy and a joint first for our new trophy the Ron Fry Silver Salver. The trophies were kindly presented by Mr Mark Curtis from Paradise Park.

ANNUAL SHOW 2015

This years show was held on Saturday 8th August in the Meridian Centre, Peacehaven

The show was opened by our longstanding member Mr Ron Fry.  We had many visitors viewing the exhibits which ranged from flower displays, cut flowers, vegetables, baking, pot plants, photography, arts & cratfs.

We had many childrens entries with some lovely exhibits and it is obvious the area has many talented children. The childrens categories were sponsored by Paradise park, Newhaven.

The visitors treated themselves to homemade cakes  and bacon sandwiches in the cafe which was kindly sponsored by Co-operative Funeralcare. Many people purchased plants which were for sale from a vast array at exceptional prices, we also had a raffle, tombola, guess how many sweeties in the jar and name the scarecrow.

The trophis were presented by Mr Mark Curtis from Paradise Park, Newhaven.
