Welcome to the Peacehaven Horticultural Society website.

About Us


The Peacehaven Horticultural Society is a club for those interested in gardening. It has been running for many years and currently meets the third Mondays of the month (Bank Holiday Mondays excluded) at 7.30pm in Community House. The meetings include talks on gardening, wildlife and environmental subjects as well as quiz evenings.

The Club also organises visits to gardens of interest. Club membership is £6 per annum (£10 per couple) with a £2.00 entrance fee for each meeting.

The Club organises an annual show at the Meridian Centre, this years show is on Saturday 10th August, which is open to members and non members. There are a wide variety of classes, covering flowers, vegetables, preserves, baking, handicraft, flower arranging and children’s classes, and everyone is invited to enter. Entry is £1.00, free with schedule. Schedules are available from The Information Office, Meridian Centre,Peacehaven or Alison on 01273589502

We are a friendly group and new members are made most welcome, so come and join us.

The Trading Hut is back!!

We are now situated on the Peacehaven Allotments Site, Cornwall Avenue, Peacehaven.

The Trading Hut is open to everyone.  At the moment we have no set opening hours but you can contact Sherral on 07874842377 and if it is convenient she will meet you at the Trading Hut (if she is not already there tending to her allotment) so you can purchase your items.  There may be occasions where we will have to shut, and we apologise for this, but please bare with us and try again later.

At the moment we stock Compost, Canes, Slug pellets, bonemeal, fish, blood & bone and a few other items.

So please come and try us.
